Aquinas College Water Polo has a strong following. We have competitors at the Year and 8 level and the secondary level.

Teams compete in a local competition either at the Windemere Aquatic Centre (Toi Ohomai) or the Baywave Aquatic Centre. We aim to compete in the North Island competitions and AIMS GAMES.

Check the AC Water Polo Facebook page for updates throughout the year.

Will be on Sunday afternoons at Baywave in one-hour slots between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. For Tournament Teams, practice will also be held on Wednesdays from 7.00 a.m. until 8.00 a.m. at the Toi Ohomai pool. Entry to Baywave is $3.80.

Weekly competitions are organised by the Tauranga Water Polo Club. In Term 1, Tauranga Water Polo offers grades for Years 7 and 8 and Years 9 to 13. In Term 4, available grades are for Years 7 and 8 and Years 9 and 10 only.

Games are estimated to be played between 4.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. Year 7 and 8 games are played either on Tuesdays (A & B Grades) or Fridays (C Grade) at Toi Ohomai, Windermere.

Year 9 to 13 students play on Thursdays at Baywave.
