Registration and Fees
Registrations for the 2025 season are now open. Please register at the following link before Wednesday 5 February.
Fees are charged per player for the term and are estimated to be $140.00 per player.
Trainings
Will be on Sunday afternoons at Baywave in one-hour slots between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. For Tournament Teams, practice will also be held on Wednesdays from 7.00 a.m. until 8.00 a.m. at the Toi Ohomai pool. Entry to Baywave is $3.80.
Competition
Weekly competitions are organised by the Tauranga Water Polo Club. In Term 1, Tauranga Water Polo offers grades for Years 7 and 8 and Years 9 to 13. In Term 4, available grades are for Years 7 and 8 and Years 9 and 10 only.
Games are estimated to be played between 4.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. Year 7 and 8 games are played either on Tuesdays (A & B Grades) or Fridays (C Grade) at Toi Ohomai, Windermere. Year 9 to 13 students play on Thursdays at Baywave.
Draw
Game times can be checked each week at Tauranga Water Polo by clicking on Draws and then the applicable league.

NZ Secondary School Division 2 (Year 11 to 13 Girls) – April
NZ Secondary School Champs (Year 11 to 13 Boys) – April
AIMS GAMES (Year 7 and 8) – September
Challenger Cup (Year 9 and 10) – October
North Island Intermediate Champs (Years 7 and 8) – October
North Island Secondary School Junior Champs (Years 7 to 10) – October/November
Uniform
Year 7 and 8: AC togs for tournament players, mufti togs for local players
Years 9 to 13: AC togs compulsory for all players. No mufti togs allowed.
Equipment
Team caps are provided.
Cost
Teams selected for tournament and additional competitions will be required to cover associated expenses of entry, accommodation, travel etc.
