Welcome to the Aquinas College Cricket Club

We aim to provide a fun, fair and safe cricketing environment where everyone develops their game and is keen to come back again next year. We also love to win.

At Aquinas College, we have quality coaches who are committed to building good individuals and strong teams. All our coaches are trained and vetted as part of NZ Cricket’s programme of ensuring child safety.

Our parent community is an integral part of the junior club too and we rely on the contribution of parents to help us.

Cricket is played at Aquinas College with Year 7 & 8’s playing in an Intermediate Competition, the Junior teams playing in a Western BOP Secondary Schools Competition, and our 1st and 2nd XI playing in the Mens Grade Competition.
NZ Cricket has changed the platform from CriqHQ to PlayHQ for all cricket in NZ. This includes scoring, registration and competitions. Please register on the appropriate link below based on age grades.
If your cricket player may be across teams please register in both categories e.g a Year 8 player who has/might want to play College grade. Therefore they would register in the Junior cricket link, and in the Youth cricket link.

Some people have found these links to not work on mobile phones, but they work much better on a computer for some reason.
Registrations need to be received by Wednesday 21 September.

Information

Subscription Fees

The following fees are for Term 4 only. Players will be required to pay the fee for the ‘main’ team they are registered to play in for the majority of this term.
1st XI/2nd XI: $110.00
Juniors: $85.00
Intermediate: $70.00

Additional Fees: There would be additional fees if your child’s team competes at other tournaments/competitions.

Practices

Before school, lunchtime or after school practices. This will be determined by the team your child plays for.

Uniform

White long trousers or Aquinas Blue long trousers for Intermediate and Junior Teams.
Aquinas Blue trousers will be required for 1st XI and 2nd XI Squad members.

Appropriate footwear
Students who still have sports gear from last year will not be allocated a uniform until these item/s are returned.

Equipment

Aquinas Cricket Club provides some very basic equipment for students who do not have their own such as bats, pads and gloves. However, we do not provide personal protective equipment (e.g protective box).
