Registration and Fees
Registrations for the 2026 season are now open. Please register here by Wednesday 4 March.
Fees for the season are charged per player and are as follows:
Year 7/8: A Grade: $230.00, all other grades $210.
Year 9-13: Premier Grade: $260.00, A Grade $245.00, Social $195.00
Trainings
Will be decided by team managers and typically commence at the start of Term 2. During the school term, practices are generally held in the Aquinas Gymnasium either before or after school, or at lunchtime.
Competitions
Weekly competitions are organised by the Tauranga City Basketball Association (TCBA) and run during Terms 2 and 3. Venues and times will change from week to week.
Draws and Cancellations
You can access the draw each week on the TCBA website by clicking the Competitions tab and then the applicable age group.
Tournaments
NZSS 3×3 Basketball Championships (Years 11 to 13) – March
NZSS Basketball Premiership and Nationals (Years 11 to 13) – August and September
AIMS GAMES (Years 7 and 8) – September
Uniform
Players will be issued with a basketball top for the season, and will provide their own blue PE/sport shorts. The Sports Department have a small number of shorts available to borrow if players do not have their own blue PE/Sport shorts.
Players are required to have their own mouth guard and covered shoes.
