Each year, Aquinas College, works alongside Samaritans Purse with the Christmas shoebox appeal. The appeal aims to give aid to those most vulnerable, working to demonstrate and celebrate God’s unconditional love for all. This year, these shoeboxes are being sent to children in the Pacific Islands, who would otherwise go without a share of the Christmas joy. Aquinas’ Young Vinnie’s group led this action. Many members of our college whānau got involved, who together filled 33 shoeboxes. We are all grateful for the opportunity to give back to those in need and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at the end of this busy year.
