Winter Sports Registrations are now OPEN for 2019.
Please see below for a list of codes offered at Aquinas College in Terms 2 and 3 2019 and all of the information you will need to know about them.
Badminton is held as a social club at Aquinas College one afternoon a week. Registration is not required for this sport and all students are welcome to attend, regardless of experience or ability.
At the start of next term the club will be advertised in the school notices.
Basketball Registrations are now open. It is important to register online so your child does not miss out on receiving important information about Trials and being placed into a team.
Information about trials will be sent out once it has been set by the Basketball Committee.

Football is available to all students during winter. All students who would like to play need to fill in the Online Registration here.
The trials for the 1st XI Boys Team will be held on Tuesday 5 March on field1, from 3.30pm. Please arrive ready to go. Trials for other age groups will be announced in the coming weeks, once registrations have been received.
The season starts with grading games on Saturday 4 May and will run throughout Term 2 and 3. There will be no games on Queens Birthday, and no games played during the school holidays.
Information about trials will be sent out when it is confirmed by the Football Committee.

Students who wish to play Hockey this winter are required to complete the Online Registration. Hockey Registrations will close on Friday 22 March ahead of trials.
Players have been invited to attend pre-season training starting on Wednesday 27 February for 5 weeks. If you would like to be included in this group, please see Mr Watson to get your name added to the list.
Trials for the 1st XI Boys and Girls Teams and Intermediate Blue team will be held on Sunday 24 March at the Tauranga Hockey Turf at Blake Park.
Trials for Intermediate students will be from 3.00pm – 4.00pm, College Boys at 4.00pm – 5.00pm and College Girls at 5.00pm – 6.00pm.

All those who would like to play this year Netball this year (competitively and socially) must complete the online Netball Registration. Please note that registrations will close on Wednesday 27 February.
Trials are to be held as below:
Year 7/8 Students will have trials on Sunday 3 March from 9.00am to 12.00pm, and a second trial on Wednesday 6 March from 3.30 – 6.00pm.
Year 9/10 Students will have trials on Sunday 3 March from 12.00pm – 2.00pm and a second trial on Tuesday 5 March 3.30 – 6.00pm.
Year 11-13 Students will have trials on Sunday 3 March from 2.00pm – 3.00pm, and a second trial on Tuesday 5 March 3.30 – 6.00pm.

Rugby is starting to get ready for the season with a Free BBQ for all students interested in playing Rugby for AC this year. It will be on Tuesday 26 February outside the Gym at lunchtime. All students who are considering playing Rugby in 2019 are encouraged to come along.
Rugby Registrations can also be completed online.
Pre Season Trainings and Musters will be communicated to students through the daily notices and to those who sign up online or at the Recruitment BBQ.

All students who are wanting to compete in Squash Competitions are encouraged to visit the Sports Office or Mr Marty Lee and register their name. When competitions are upcoming we will notify you.

Table Tennis is offered as a social club at Aquinas College during one lunchtime a week in the Gym.
It is available to all students regardless of age, experience and ability. There will also be opportunities throughout the year to compete in competitions.
Once a day is organized this will be advertised to students through the daily notices.
