Aquinas will be closed for teaching on the first day of Term Two (Monday, April 28) for a Staff Only Day.
This decision allows for staff professional development, provides contractors vital time to prepare the Family Block for refurbishment, and offers AC families an extended Anzac Weekend.
The timing of this Staff Only Day is essential to ensure a smooth and safe transition as we undertake significant building projects. Contractors are scheduled to complete the new Joy Block on Wednesday, April 23, and will commence work on the Family Block (Arts and Technology) 24 hours later.
Closing the school on Monday, April 28th, will give contractors the necessary time to install safety fencing, signage, and other essential safety measures around the Family Block construction site.
Joy Block Opening: Tuesday, April 29
