Aquinas swimmer Millie Quin was the top points scorer at the NZ Division II swimming championships held over four days in Rotorua in March.
Quin won an astonishing five gold medals and one bronze in her 6 events. She started her campaign with a surprising win in the 200m backstroke swimming a massive 13 second personal best recording 2:26.38.
This swim set the tone for her successful campaign and ensured she earned qualifying times to attend the NZ Age Group championships later this year.
The DivII event is one of the largest swimming competitions in New Zealand. In the 200m Individual Medley alone there were 31 heats and 245 swimmers.
