What a day at the Waikato/BOPSS Athletic Champs! Our 11 athletes absolutely crushed it, bringing home a haul of medals.
Highlight of the day: Our junior girls 4x100m relay team stormed to GOLD, finishing 20m clear of the competition! Micah Fuller, Janelle Tustin (Yr 10), Isabel Nelis & Skye O’Connell (Yr 9) – take a bow!

Water Polo – North Island Division 2 Recap!
AC Prem Boys won SILVER in a close 5-6 match against Mt Maunganui!!
AC Prem Girls finished 2nd in pool play, but with no semis, they found themselves battling for 3rd overall—and they delivered. A dominant 8-0 victory over Whangaparāoa/Kingsway/Pinehurst secured them a well-earned BRONZE!

Shoutout to rookie Flynn Madden (Yr 9) for an incredible effort! 9th in K1 2km (U14) & 10th in K250m sprint after an unlucky boat malfunction while leading his semi! He’s only 13 years old and has been paddling for just 8 weeks!

Patrick Nelis & Christian Tipi (Yr 11) just missed doubles qualification in a photo finish after a gutsy sprint!
Caris McGillivray & Sophie Harrison (Yr 11) into two doubles semis!
Sophie also into singles semis & Patrick into repechage – big effort!
