Aquinas College is one of 100 schools nationwide taking part in the Youth Health and Wellbeing Survey 2025, a major study of secondary students aged 13–19 across Aotearoa.
Approximately 200 students from our school have been randomly selected to participate in this voluntary and anonymous survey, which will take place on Friday, 8 August.
The survey explores topics such as health, education, family life, and aspirations, aiming to improve support systems for young people throughout New Zealand. Up to 10,000 students nationwide are expected to take part.
The survey is being conducted by research agency Ipsos, with support from government agencies and health providers. It will be held on-site at Aquinas College.
Participation is entirely optional, and students are free to opt out. Those selected have already received information and are encouraged to discuss the survey with their whānau.
As a thank you, students who complete the survey will receive a $25 digital Prezzy card and a pair of YHWS 2025 headphones.
