Aquinas College Multisports

There are a number of events which can be entered into (both within school and others not directly related to school). We aim to support these students to compete in Multisport events including triathlon, duathlon and cycling. Please note that adult support to transport bikes etc will be required from time to time.

Events to enter through school:

Term 1

  • BOP Secondary School Triathlon, Whakatane/Ohope (Year 9-13) – February 
  • North Island Mountain Bike Championships, Wellington (Year 9-13) – March/April
  • Pahoia School Triathlon, Pahoia School (Year 7/8) – April

Term 2

  • BOP Secondary School Manawahe Multisport, Whakatane (Year 9-13) – May
  • Waikato BOP Schools Road Cycling Championship, TBC – May
  • NZSS Multisport Championships, Rotorua (Year 9-13) – June

Term 3

  • NZSS Duathlon, Pukekohe (Year 9-13) – August
  • AIMS GAMES MultiSport, McLarens Falls (Year 7/8) – September

Term 4

  • BOPSS Duathlon, Ohope (All ages)- Date TBC

Equipment:

Own bikes, helmets, swim wear and any other gear deemed essential by organisers of events.

Cost:

Fees vary dependent on event/s- user pays

Once confirmation has been received to register for an event and/or the school has made payment, there will be no refunds for any withdraws.

All other costs will be the responsibility of the students involved including transport/meals and accommodation.
