On Wednesday, our Yr 9 students attended a presentation from the SMASHED Project team. Smashed uses powerful live theatre and interactive workshops to engage students on the dangers of underage drinking. Young audiences follow the lives of three young people and witness how they become involved with alcohol and how it affects their lives. Interactive workshops enable students to explore the facts about underage drinking and develop strategies for resisting peer influence.
We encourage parents to speak with their young people about the issues of peer pressure and underage drinking. If you would like more information we suggest you head to the website where parents can find resources to support a discussion.
