On a rain-free day last week, our students and staff volunteered their time to clean up the Bay of Plenty! They scoured beaches and walkways for rubbish, gave a helping hand to local schools and businesses, baked and packed for the Homes of Hope, sang for the Waipuna Hospice residents, planted the Coastal dunes and the school community garden…helped out with the horses at Riding for the Disabled, created a mural for the Chapel…and more! One teacher exclaimed: “the kids were completely stunning and worked VERY hard!” And to quote Principal Dalton: “Service is central to our mission as Christians and is a Touchstone of our College!”
