Our students had an awesome time teaming up with the New Zealand Sevens Men’s team earlier this month to prepare trays of lasagne for the Kura Kai freezers. It was a memorable experience for them to work alongside these fantastic role models.
The players even made pasta from scratch, thanks to Mr Webb’s one-of-a-kind teaching expertise. The cook-up in the AC kitchen restocked our Kura Kai freezer with more meals for local whānau in need.
It was also a chance to welcome home old boy Nat Barry (Class of 2022). Huge congratulations, Nat — we’re so proud of all you’re achieving in rugby! 🏉
