Congratulations to Yr 7 students Brayden Stowers and Steve Fonohema who have been selected for the Western Bay of Plenty under 12’s rugby team. They played Eastern Bay of Plenty and Central Bay of Plenty at a recent tournament in Whakatane. Scores were 41-7 against EBOP and 51-7 against CBOP. Both boys also made the tournament team for 2017. Great achievement.
Brayden had a great year winning the club finals (Papamoa Blue) against Arataki, then going on to win the under 12’s Champions of Champions for BOP. This is Brayden’s third year winning this award.
The future 1st XV Aquinas College rugby team is looking good!
