PTA Support of Aquinas Day
PTA is delighted to have been involved in supporting this year’s Aquinas Day celebrations. PTA sponsored the Zumba instructor who provided a huge amount of fun and joy on the day. PTA also provided a sausage sizzle at lunchtime which was the most successful one we have run to date so thank you to the students who supported both the Zumba and the sausage sizzle. Thank you also to Taylor Brothers who sponsored 700 pebbles that were painted by the students on the day.
Students from across the College enjoy the Zumba!
The PTA are working on a high-quality hardback cookbook which showcases favourite recipes from families in our community and from other well-known contributors. The book is being developed this year with the generous support of some amazing photographers, designers and a highly dedicated committee. We are planning to launch it next year and we need you to send us all those family recipes you have tucked away in your recipe folders to help us to make this a must have cookbook. We are also looking for businesses who wish to advertise their products and services to sponsor the book. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The recent Bingo Night was a huge success with over $20,000 raised and half of this will be distributed to school sporting codes. Huge thanks to all who supported this event and to the clubs and codes for your involvement.
PTA held its AGM in May. Lee Ann Taylor was re-elected as Chairperson, Cathy Kerr was re-elected as Treasurer and Robyn Bruce was elected as Secretary. Thank you to Miriam O’Connor who stepped down from the Secretary role that she has held for two years.
