We used green cloth for a sign of Covid-19 and the People to represent the family. The net around means that right now some people are trapped or isolated in other countries and can’t see or talk to the ones they love. But the colour on the other half means that there will be a brighter side to this and they just need to have hope and know it will end. We used blue to represent the ocean and white for waves and land. There are animals surrounded by rubbish so that means it’s representing the animals that are dying from our pollution in the ocean and that we need to clean it so we can have a healthier environment for Us and animals.

We pray for our country bearing the weight of COVID-19. Through all the hard times we had hope and love. We used half a heart to symbolise the feeling of loss when someone you love has died due to COVID-19, a poppy because we spent ANZAC day in lockdown, a fish because the environment thrived and the words hope and love for what was to come. For the background, we used green fabric and a blue and green circle shape in the middle to represent the world.

The blue in my prayer space represented the ocean that separates me from my family. The colourful cloth means family and friends in Korea. The rosary beads are for my prayers. And the bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13. It was all about love which I have for my family. I pray for my family in Korea for protection from COVID 19.– Tina Choi &
