As indicated in Mr Dalton’s Principal’s Report, NCEA results from 2021 were very strong. Despite a number of disruptions and difficulties through the year, we are very proud of the achievements of all of our learners. As our pastoral care and curriculum systems become increasingly aligned, we are more able to track and support students in their learning. Our mentoring systems and Future Pathways assistance provide more direction to students and support for them to do their best. We can see the success of these programmes reflected in our results.
From our new Board of Trustees Chair Steve McGregor
The Aquinas College Board of Trustees met for the first time in 2022 on the 24th of February. During this meeting, Matt and his team briefed the Board on the results gained by our students during the 2021 school year. The Board acknowledges these were an incredible set of results across NCEA and in New Zealand Scholarship. We would like to acknowledge the students themselves for their hard work in a disrupted year, you have shown incredible adaptability and perseverance. We would also like to commend our teachers for their dedicated tutelage and care of our students. Results like this are not possible without a remarkable effort by our hard-working team. We hope that 2022 can bring you all similar successes.
