Any families needing information about bus routes and times for school buses leaving Aquinas College, please e-mail Mrs. Van Kol here.
Twelve buses depart Aquinas College each day at 3.20 pm. Please note if you are picking up students within the school grounds all vehicles are required to wait until the buses have departed. This enables them to arrive on time at their scheduled stops.
To ensure students safety, there is no parking allowed in front of the school office from 3 pm each day.
Bus fares remain the same as last year ($2.00 cash and $1.60 with a Smartride card). Note that Route 552 has extended to intersection of Lakes Blvd and Te Ranga Memorial Drive but no longer travels to Inverness Drive. Route 553 is extended to bus stop at 15 Inverness Drive (to replace 552). For general information about the school bus service, complaints or concerns regarding passenger safety, please visit the Bay Hopper website here.
Please note that all students must attend school in the correct summer uniform.
Hats are essential in Term 1 and 4. Students are reminded to wear sunscreen and reapply this throughout the day.
Sunscreen is available at the office or at the Action Centre.
As the weather is forecast to be very hot in the next few weeks please remember to bring a drink bottle and stay well hydrated throughout the day.
Please use the Absentee Line to advise the college if any student is going to be away from school.
The phone number is 07 543 2400, Option 1.
Students are required to have a written note to show their teacher and the office staff if they are leaving the school grounds during the day.
