Lochlainn swam a perfectly measured race to finish first in a new personal best time, take gold and break the BOP record previously held by Moss Burmester. From this race, Lochlainn swam an excellent race in the Open Men’s ‘A’ Final to finish in 3rd place, picking up the bronze medal, his first National Open Medal (those ahead were 20+ in age). Well Done Lochy. In a very strong field, Lochlainn again improved his personal best time, by 0.2 seconds and broke the BOP Record held by Moss Burmester for the second time today.
