It has been a busy and successful start to the Winter Sports Season at Aquinas College. We have an abundance of winter sports teams this year who would love your support on the sidelines. With 18 Netball , 11 Basketball , 7 Hockey , 5 Football and 3 Rugby Teams, it is one of the biggest Winter Seasons Aquinas College has seen.
Along with Winter Sports starting, we also held our Annual Cross Country and will celebrated our Sports Champions at Assembly on May 29th. Coming up this Term we have our Inter-school Cross Country, Badminton Competitions, Rock Climbing and Gymnastics.
AIMS GAMES are coming up in Week 8 of Term 3. Information is starting to come out regarding trials and teams so please ensure your child is listening to the school notices each morning and your email address is up to date with the school, so you do not miss any essential information.
Congratulations must go to Toby Elsom who competed in the BOP Secondary School Individual Squash Championships in Rotorua on May 23. Toby played exceptional games over the day resulting in him taking out Division 3. Well done Toby!
As a new addition on the Aquinas College Sports Webpage, you can now view weekly Sports Draws and Results for all our teams. The Draws will be updated on the Aquinas College website as they come to hand from the codes. Results for the previous week will also be displayed.
In conjunction with the Draws and Results you can also choose to submit a sports achievement to us. We do not always receive notification of students who have achieved individually or in a team outside of Aquinas College, however we would love to celebrate your achievements within school.
