It’s been a minute, but here’s a catch-up on some of the great things happening around Aquinas!
🧁 Baking for a Cause
Mrs Lawrence’s Year 8 CIC class put their baking skills to good use, creating delicious treats for the tamariki at Homes of Hope. It was a wonderful act of service, sharing kindness with this charity, which provides therapeutic services for tamariki and whānau impacted by trauma.
🌭🍪🥤 Year 10 Market Day
Our Year 10 Enterprise Studies students impressed with their creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial skills at this year’s Market Day.
Seventy-nine students competed in teams to design, market, produce and sell a unique product, with the quality and variety of food on offer reaching an exceptionally high standard. Whether they made a healthy profit or learned valuable lessons along the way, every student walked away with real-world business experience.
