Year 8 Coastal Discovery
As part of our class learning we will be taking part in the Learning Through Discovery programme. This programme is coordinated by Tauranga City Council, and funded by the Ministry of Education as part of their commitment to Learning Experiences Outside the Classroom (LEOTC).
The date of our Discovery Day trip is Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
Wednesday 14th March – 8BAN and 8MKY
Thursday 15th March – 8BRD and 8SWP

As there is a lot involved in organising a day like this. Therefore, we would appreciate if you are able to provide parent help by CLICKING HERE.
Children are to attend school at the normal time and will be bused to Mauao (Mount Maungaui). There we will participate in a Coastal Discovery with exciting activities such as:
- Dune discovery
- Rock pool discovery
- History of Mauao
We will be leaving the site by 2.15pm to return to school
