We have a great opportunity for all students interested in sports! On Wednesday 4th April Crimson Education will be holding a sports scholarship seminar for Tauranga high school students, parents and coaches – please see attached for a digital flyer for the event. The aim of the seminar is to provide insights into the US sporting scholarship opportunities that are available.
It is being held at the ‘Adams Centre for High Performance’, with a 5:45pm arrival for a 6pm start. Refreshments will be provided 🙂
The guest speaker for this event is Tessa Berger. Tessa attended Florida Gulf Coast University on a Division I full athletic scholarship, studying majors in business management and accounting with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Tessa has represented New Zealand on the international stage for the past decade in soccer. Most notably, she competed in the FIFA Women’s World Cup and received the honour of being named ASB Bank Young Sportsperson of the Year in 2011.
Tickets are usually $10, but the discount code “AQUINAS” has been created for students, parents, teachers and coaches to attend for free. For more information and to register for free, you can visit the eventbrite page here (the AQUINAS discount code is embedded in the link).
