The annual College Cross Walk, was held Thursday April 1, followed by the student-led Easter Liturgy. Forty-five Year 11-13 students participated in the Cross Walk, beginning at St Thomas More Church, travelling across to Tauranga, stopping at St Mary’s Catholic School before returning to the College for the Easter liturgy. The students marked the ‘Stations of the Cross’ along their pilgrimage, offering an opportunity to pray and meditate on Christ’s sacrifice for us.
The student-led Easter Liturgy also reflected on the Stations of the Cross before veneration at the end. The Liturgy was also a special celebration of the cultures of the College. Each of the 14 Stations of the Cross were read in a different language!
