Year 11’s and 12’s – thinking of a career in Engineering?
Do you like solving problems? Do you like finding ways to improve things? Are you into innovation and technology? Do you enjoy maths and science but enjoy being practical too? Engineering, with its wide range of roles may be a career option for you.
Engineering NZ and Waikato University will be at this year’s Options Evening (7pm, next Tue 20 Aug) to host an information seminar about Engineering – what options there are for jobs in the industry and what you need to focus on at school in order to maximise your study to enter tertiary courses. All parents and students are welcome to attend.
The presentation will be held in the foyer, following the opening address and there will be time for questions and then visiting other subject advisors after. Year 13 students and whanau are also welcome.
