Athletics Day Information

Athletics Day for the whole school is going to be held on Friday 22 February. More information regarding the day will be released to you in the coming week.

As we have limited time during the day on Athletics, there are a few events that are held at Aquinas College during lunchtimes in the lead up to Athletics. The following events will not be held on Athletics Day:

  • 200m (all age groups)
  • 300m (Year 7, 8 & U14)
  • 400m (U16 & U18)
  • 800m (all age groups)
  • 3000m (U14, U16 & U19)
  • Triple Jump

Please check out the timetable below to see when these events will be held. All students who would like to participate need to meet on the field in PE gear ready to go at the start of lunchtime on the applicable day.

Monday 4 February – Year 8 300m

Tuesday 5 February – Year 7 200m

Wednesday 6 February – WAITANGI DAY

Thursday 7 February – U19 200m

Friday 8 February – U14 & U16 800m

Friday 8 February – Year 7 & 8 800m (this will occur during Period 5)

Monday 11 February – U14 & U16 200m

Tuesday 12 February – U19 800m

Wednesday 13 February – U16 & U19 400m

Thursday 14 February – U14 300m

Friday 15 February – U14, U16 & U19 Triple Jump

Monday 18 February – Year 8 200m

Tuesday 19 February – Open 3000m

Wednesday 20 February – Year 7 300m

Thursday 22 February – ATHLETICS DAY
