Aquinas College put on a Musical Production bi-annually. They are always a highlight of the year for everyone involved. Students not only learn about the ins and outs of the theatre industry but gain so much personally in terms of confidence and new skills. Auditions are held at the end of each preceding year.

2019 Musical Production: Fiddler on the Roof

Fiddler on the Roof  is a musical set in the Pale of Settlement of Imperial Russia in 1905.  The story centres on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his Jewish and cultural traditions as outside influences encroach upon the family’s lives.  He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters, who wish to marry for love – each one’s choice of a husband moves further from the customs of his faith – and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.

Show Dates: 9 – 11 May 2019 at Baycourt Theatre

A huge thank you to our key sponsor Legacy Trust for all their support.
