Aquinas International Day

Last Friday’s International Day at Aquinas College was a whirlwind global celebration of its diverse community. Eight countries came to life through dance, art, food, and fun.

Students experienced the vibrant cultures of India, South Korea, Japan, China, South Africa, the Philippines, Tonga, and Samoa. They tried everything from origami to Indian dance moves, badminton, henna art, Samoan hand games, Holi powder explosions, Tinikling, and much more.

Food trucks provided cuisine from around the globe, and an impressive number of students wore their best international outfits. It was a giant, colourful, super-fun celebration of cultures at Aquinas.

Huge kudos to the Student Executive Cultural Committee and Year 13s for a fantastic day! More photos coming soon!
