Aquinas Girls Show Spirit in AIMS Debut

The Aquinas girls hockey team made its AIMS Games debut today (Sept. 1) and gave it their all against sixth-seed, Northcross Intermediate.

The Auckland team had played together all season and was tough competition for Aquinas in its first-ever game together.

Coach Brady Jones said AC played really well considering Northcross is a strong team. The opposition won 6-0. Captain McKenna Kaczon said it went well for their first game.

It is the first time Aquinas has sent both girls and boys teams to AIMS.
