By Reporters Ani Samuels and Anika Wijesinghe
The Aquinas mixed hockey team delivered a thrilling quarter-final performance at AIMS today (Sept. 4) and is now just one game away from the finals. Undefeated all week, AC battles ACG tonight for a place in tomorrow’s final.
Down 0-2 after a slow first half, Aquinas rallied back to claim a hard-fought victory over Mokoia Intermediate this afternoon, winning 3-2.
Jono Dalton (Year 8) was named MVP. It was AC’s sixth win this week.
