The AIMS GAMES 2018 are being held in Tauranga from Sunday 9 – Friday 14 September. This is an annual event on the Aquinas College Sports Calendar and it is always a highlight for our Year 7 and 8 Students.
MONDAY
NETBALL
Beautiful day to start the week at the AIMS Games. The team had three really tough games today against Newlands, Peachgrove and tawa Intermediates. Our girls kept the fighting spirit going even when the score line was well and truly against them. I’m sure some of our competition are at least 18 years old!! Our girls are a super group of girls to be with. The first photo is of Amelia Gaffney milking a cow – yes, you read it right! At Blake Park they have an “Anchor Cow” and you can go and ‘milk the cow’ – so much fun! This was between one of the games. It is like tent city down at Blake Park. I know it’s tough to get away from school but…. Girls are playing tomorrow at 9am, 11.15 and 1.30am. Wednesday – 8am, then it goes into pool play.
