A review of the NCEA results for 2017 indicates that the senior students at Aquinas College have performed exceptionally well and have had outstanding success in their studies.

These pleasing figures indicate that the overwhelming majority of junior students at Aquinas College have a very strong platform for academic success by the time they enter the middle school at Year 9.
Scholarship results have also been announced for 2017. Scholarships are awarded to approximately the top 3% of candidates in the subject being examined (depending on subject size). Four Aquinas College students gained a total of 7 subject scholarships in 2017.
They were:
– Lilli Scott – Year 12 (3 subject scholarships): English; History; Physical Education
– Aileen Harwood (2 subject scholarships): Physical Education; Economics
– Samantha Johnson (1 subject scholarship): Physical Education
– Daisy Vahey-Bourne – Year 12 (1 subject scholarship): English
Our congratulations go to our scholarship winners and to the students who have performed exceptionally well in their studies in 2017. It is particularly pleasing to see Year 12 students represented in this list. We anticipate that they will be able to build on these achievements in 2018.
