Last term, our whole school came together for the annual House Whakataetae Haka Waiata, delivering an afternoon of outstanding performances and House unity.
Each House gave its own interpretation of our new waiata, Tōia Mai, alongside Tauranga Moana and our school haka, Te Haka o Akuina, showcasing the dedication and practice that had taken place throughout the term. A special shout-out to our kaimahi (staff), who also took to the stage.

The competition was judged by Aquinas’ Whaea Stevie-Jane Mutu, Rotorua Boys’ High Deputy Principal Tuwharetoa Hapi (formerly of Aquinas College), and Matua Kiwa Andrews from Ōtūmoetai College.
