AC Alumni Row for New Zealand

Congratulations to Aquinas alumni, brother and sister Callum and Charlize Tutbury, who have been selected to row for NZ!

Callum will line up in the NZ men’s U23 coxless four at the U23 World Championship Regatta in Canada this weekend. Good luck Callum, your Aquinas whānau is with you all the way!

Meanwhile, Charlize was chosen to represent NZ against Australia in the U21 Pacific Regatta in Canberra in June. She rowed in the women’s quad and eight. Both siblings row for the Waikato Rowing Club. Callum is studying computer science part-time at Waikato University and Charlize is undertaking a degree in architecture design.

Rowing is obviously in their DNA as their younger brother, Noah Askin (Year 8), has just started rowing at Tauranga Rowing Club. AC Pride!
