Aquinas is through to the New Zealand Nationals of Showquest 2025! The AC troupe earned a finals spot after being named BOP Open Category Champions at last month’s regional contest.

Year 12 student Tanvi Upreti was awarded the Student Leadership Award
The group now advances to the September 10 national finals, which are decided based on each team’s digital submission.
It is AC’s first time entering Showquest, a nationwide performing arts competition that combines art, music, dance, drama, culture and technology. Entrants perform an original 10-minute piece they’ve designed, produced, and brought to life.
The Aquinas performance was titled ‘Art Throughout the Ages,’ and featured more than 45 students from Years 7-13.
