A Relationship with Christ

Year 10 Retreats have been led by the NET team over the last few days of term. The Retreat has focussed on seeking a relationship with Christ. Students were engaged in a range of activities and were encouraged to seek their purpose by being open to a relationship with Christ. Students reflected on how we encounter challenges in life, and it is reassuring to know that we are not alone, and Christ is always with us. Towards the end of the retreat, students from Year 12 shared their own journey and invited the Year 10s to sign-up for the Year 11 Discipleship Class for 2022.
The Discipleship Class is an academic class which also provides opportunities to explore a personal faith. It is for students who may feel fully connected to God or wanting to seek a better understanding of how God is working in their lives. Over the course of the year, students are supported to learn the skills to lead retreats with our Year 7 and 8 students.

If you are interested in being part of this class, please email svanzyl@aquinas.school.nz
