About the Sport: Aquinas College have a dedicated parent group who support skiing and snowboarding at the College. The aim is to have students work towards the North Island Intermediate and Secondary School Ski/Snowboard champs at the end of Term Three.
Events: The Aquinas College Ski Champs will be held at the beginning of Term 3. These races will determine the Intermediate and College teams to enter the North Island Champs.
Competition:
- Aquinas College Ski Champs. To Be Advised
- BOP Ski Champs (Year 9-13) -Saturday 18th/Sunday 19th August 2012
- North Island Ski Champs (Year 7/8) - Monday 3rd – Friday 7th September 2012
Uniform: Own ski clothing
Equipment: Own Ski’s / Snowboard. All competitors must were a helmet.
Cost: All costs will need to be met by the individuals. Approximate costs are $120 - $140 for the competitions.
