Aquinas College Principal, Ray Scott

I am delighted to welcome you to the Aquinas College community. Although we are only a young school we are well established and highly respected in the wider community. Our aim is to continue to build on this school culture to provide a truly outstanding Catholic education for all students. The facilities and environment are superb. Students learn in a safe and caring environment and the curriculum ensures that all students are challenged to give their very best in all activities.

The Catholic character is at the core of all that we do. The teachings of Jesus and the Catholic Church over the past 2000 years, and work of St Thomas Aquinas provide the foundation on which we continue to build. All involved in Aquinas – staff, students, families and contributing schools are called on to make a difference in our world.

We must stand for social justice for all and provide example and support to those most in need. Our expectations are very high. We consider every student to have skills and talent to share and develop, and especially to be able to contribute positively to the school and wider community.

All students are expected to work hard and reach their potential, particularly in the academic area, We also trust that our students will develop their love of God,  together with a love and respect for each other and their environment. It is also an expectation that each student will generously use their talents to support each other and that they will develop personal responsibility and effective learning habits, In doing this they will be able to leave school as confident  young adults wit the capability to provide leadership and contribute significantly to our every changing world.
