Pastoral Care

Aquinas College is a safe College where every individual is valued for his or her talents, personality and culture. As well as the normal supportive classroom programme we will provide:
* A comprehensive homeroom or form room structure

• A firm discipline system that allows teachers to concentrate on teaching , and students on learning. The focus is on each person taking responsibility for themselves, and accepting the consequences for their choices.

• Deans at each level to oversee the pastoral and administrative needs of students (See Staff list for the current Deans)

• Specialist counselling both for personal matters and in careers

• Chaplaincy services for students, staff and families in their faith development

• Student support for those with learning and behavioural difficulties

*Enrichment programmes at each level to extend students (For example, public speaking, national and international competitions in English, Mathematics, Science and other subjects, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, leadership training)

• Opportunities for Christian service
