About the Sport:

Aquinas College netball has a strong following, fielding 14-16 teams for the last few seasons.  Our teams perform consistently well with 70% of our teams making semi/finals. The top Senior Aquinas College team plays in the Upper North Island Secondary Schools tournament.

2012 Registration and Trial Form

Selections: To cater for the huge number of players, trials for all teams will be held during March.

Practices/Trainings: Outside courts are available at the school for team practices/trainings to be held before or after school. Note: No lunchtime practices

Competition: Based on previous years, the local competition starts either 1st or 2nd week back in Term 2 and ends near the end of Term 3.

• Intermediate: Saturday
• Junior (Yr 9/10): Friday evening/Saturday afternoon
• Senior (Yr 11-13): Friday evening

Uniform:
Players will be supplied with Aquinas College Playing uniform in a way of a netball dress. Items will be distributed by the Sports Co-ordinator prior to their first match.

• Students will be required to supply their own:
• Navy or back knickers
• White ankle socks
• Appropriate footwear
• Aquinas College Tracksuit (optional)
• Own water bottle

Cost: Pre - registration fee (non refundable) - $30.00. this fee is to be paid prior to trials

• Additional fee for Yr 7/8 $55.00
• Additional fee for Yr 9 -13 $70.00
• Additional fees may apply if your childs's team chooses to enter tournaments outside of the local competition.
