About the sports:

Aquinas College is aware that many students are currently involved in multisport events.  There are a number of events which can be entered into (both within school and others not directly related to school).  We aim to support these students to compete in multi sport events including triathlon, duathlon and cycling.

Competition:

• Slash Paddle Dash Mt Maunganui Friday 2nd March
• WBOP Triathlon Individuals Event Hamilton Wednesday 14th March
• NZSS Triathlon Champs Cambridge Thursday 29th March
• BOP MultiSport Event Whakatane Friday 18th May
• Waikato Duathlon Champs Wednesday20th June
• NZSSS Duathlon Champs Taupo Sunday 30 September
• BOP Mountain Bike Relay Friday 9th November
• Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge Saturday 24th November
• Waikato/BOP MultSport Champs TBA

Uniform:

• Appropriate gear for events.
• Aquinas College Singlet (supplied)
• Aquinas College Cycle Top (supplied as required)
• Aquinas College Shorts supplied)
• Aquinas College Tracksuit (optional)

Equipment:

Own bikes, helmets, swim wear and any other gear deemed essential by organisers of events.

Cost:

A payment of $90.00 will be required before a student is registered for their first event. Entry fees under $30.00 will be deducted from this amount.

Once confirmation has been received to register for an event and/or the school has made payment, there will be no refunds for any withdraws.

We ask that you keep an accurate record of events, dates and fees that your child has taken part in so the appropriate amounts can be deducted.

All other costs will be the responsibility of the students involved including transport/meals and accommodation.
