New Principal Appointment

It is with great pleasure that the Board of Trustees is able to announce that Ray Scott will become the new Principal of Aquinas College following the recent retirement of our foundation Principal, Brendan Schollum.

Ray is currently the Principal of St Johns College in Hamilton, and has held this position for the last 11 years.

Ray is a strong believer in the underlying principles of holistic learning that drive Catholic education, with a passion to get the best from students in all activities, be it Catholic Character, academic, sporting, cultural or social.

Ray has indicated his goal is to promote honest, open and effective relationships with all groups that make up the school community - the students, the staff, Board, parents, caregivers and wider community.

Ray will be looking forward to the positive support of all the Aquinas community when he takes up the role at the beginning of Term 2 this year.

In the interim, Terry Consedine will continue in the role of Acting Principal for the remainder of Term 1.
