About the Sport: Gymnastics will be offered to the Year 7 - 9 students. A floor, vault and beam exercise will be learnt.
Selection: Depending on the amount of students participating, some students will be selected to compete at different levels. This selection will be done by the Gymnastic Coach.
Practices/ Trainings: At Aquinas College gymnasium on Monday after school from 3.15 – 4.30 pm
Competition:
- WBOP Primary Gymnastics Competition (Year 7/8), Tuesday 12th June 2011
- BOP Primary Gymnastics Competition (Year 7/8), To Be Advised
- BOP Gymnastics Event (Year 9-13), To Be Advised
Depending on the results, teams could have the possibility to compete at Regional events and AIMS.
Uniform:
Practice: T-shirt and shorts
Competition: Leotard (supplied), Aquinas College Tracksuit (optional)
Equipment: The school provide very basic equipment which require assistance from students to set up
Cost: Approximately $20.00 per term. This fee will be required by the start of this first practice.
